Fluorescent Probe Imaging

Several fluorescent probes have been developed to bind to a macromolecular target and our useful in a large variety of scientific interests and areas of research.  The probes are intravenously injected into the animal and then imaged over a period of time.  The animal is subjected to whole body fluorescence imaging, a technique where the subject is irradiated with near-infrared light and the emitted fluorescence is captured by a light sensitive camera.
